Installation Time: Less than 1 HourOctober 28, 2019Some thoughts about design and installThe product construction seems good but the design could use a couple refinements. On my 2016 XLT 3.5 EcoBoost the front hose was about 6' longer than it needed to be so keeping it out of the way while under the engine cover required the hose to be coiled causing a twisting tension on the separator itself. I may, at some point, shorten the hose because I don't want that constant tension. The clips the the bolts go through are too long and they bottom out (hanging over the edge of the battery tray edge). The directions suggest that there is a hole to use for one of the two needed in the tray for attachment, but on my truck that hole was used for a factory clip holding electrical wires. Because of this I did have to drill for both holes.
